    Story

    Imagine this is you:-

My dad is violent and abusive, he beats my mother and older sister. I often walk the streets at night until I know he is asleep and it is safe to return home. I can't concentrate at school and always get into trouble. (age 13)

    or

I was removed from my family when I was a few months old as a result of neglect. I've spent the last 10 years with 6 different foster families. I now live in a children's home. Nothing has ever worked out for me. I can't see myself living past 25 (age 15)

I am running the Great North Run for these young people and the hundreds like them across the North East. They are supported by Foundation Futures a not-for-profit specialist education and youth service based in Byker. They show these young people what they can do instead of what they can't. They literally save lives.

Please do something remarkable today and donate!
