I've raised £10000 to support Jamie Sheldon on his journey to beat Cancer.

We're raising money to support Jamie Sheldon in his journey to beat cancer. In March 2017 Jamie injured his ACL in his knee and after months of scans he privately had ACL reconstructive surgery on the 31st October. Jamie was looking forward to starting his rehab so he could start doing what he does best; playing football, however there was a much tougher task ahead.
Only 6 days later on the 6th November Jamie discovered a lump in his right testicle and after seeing an urologist and having an ultrasound, it was confirmed on the 23rd November as testicular cancer. These are the words that nobody wants to hear and a journey nobody wants to be on.
Following a CT scan on the 27th November the results showed that the cancer had spread through to his lymph nodes, chest, abdomen and his back. On the 1st December Jamie had his orchiectomy which was the first stage of his journey, on the 19th December Jamie started phase 1 of chemotherapy on the YPU unit at Queen Elizabeth and is currently undertaking his third circle.
Since Jamie was diagnosed on the 23rd November and throughout his chemotherapy cycle he has still been the same young man who has loved life to the full, he has continued to be the loving and caring person that he is, Jamie has always been one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
This page gives an opportunity to anyone to help contribute to this great cause as it will all go a long way to help Jamie.
