My name is Jamie I am 15 years old and have never been on holiday. I have been part of scouting now for over 10 years and am now at the stage where I am a young leader helping other young kids. I have never been on holiday unless you count school trips. the reason for this my family just doesn't have the money. my dad doesn't live with me and my mom not only looks after me and my brother but also runs a small animal shelter from our home. the event that I am trying to raise money for is the 24 world scout jamboree it would be phenomenal to leave my home in the UK and get to visit America. the trip will last for 3 weeks and as much as I try not to let money be a barrier sometimes it is. unfortunately my family doesn't have the money to send me, to fundraise I have been doing bag packs, busking, car parking and many other events however so far it is not enough. witch is why I need your help I am grateful for anything you could give.
