I've raised £1000 to help fund our family through Chemotherapy, Bone Marrow Transplant and Recovery

Jamie was born with immunodeficiency, he has been on treatments for this all his life, and spent lots of time in hospital at Alder Hey. We have recently had his official diagnosis after years of tests. Jamie has a rare type of immunodeficiency which means we need to find him a matched donor and he will need to undergo a bone marrow transplant to save him. This treatment involves intensive chemotherapy, which will take away all his immunity and kill his own bone marrow, and then an infusion of new bone marrow. Jamie will then need to take medication and be monitored to ensure his body doesnt reject the new bone marrow. I will be with Jamie every step of his journey of course, staying for at least 3 months in a specialist hospital in a germ free room. I will be away from my other 3 children and of course unable to work. The last thing we want to worry about is money BUT unfortunately, bills still need to be paid. We also want to give Jamie and his siblings the absolute best summer together before Jamies treatment! There is at least a 2 year recovery period.
Please help if you can, Jamie and I have fundraised for a lot of other causes, and I hope in our time of need we will reach our target!
