Those of you that are interested in the old wooden narrow boat heritage will feel as passionately as I do about saving this pair of old ladies Mabel and Forget me Not . You can find out more about them easily on the internet as they are very famous .Built in the 20s .Had a hard working life but have survived nearly a hundred years.Lack of funds has reduced them to this situation now .There does not seem to be any national funding to help preserve these boats .I have tried to sell them.There are a lot of people interested but have not got the funds to get them restored .I am trying to raise funds now to at least get some of the preservation work done on them.Anyone donating can be involved by all means.I can add more of their history later .
