Story
I am running the Manchester half marathon, on 14th October, to raise funds for an outdoor children's sports area at Bowker Vale primary school, where I teach 🎓
This will be my first ( but hopefully not my last! ) attempt at that coveted 13.1 miles ( I feel the .1 may be very important! ) and if I can do it anyone can 👍
I’m hoping my run will inspire the children, parents and staff into running for fitness and wellbeing and next year maybe there will be a whole Bowker Vale team crossing the finish line together!🏅
So please sponsor me and help raise some money for our outdoor sports facilities and get everyone running! 🏃♀️

6 years ago🏃♀️ 13.1 DONE!!! 🏃♀️ Despite a typical Manchester cold and rainy day, I smashed the 2 and a half hour time I had promised and came in with a chip time of ........ 2 hours 15 minutes and 57 seconds Thanks to everyone that supported and sponsored me- you are all greatly appreciated 🤗
