Hello my name is Jane and along with my husband John are raising money for my best friend of £$ years Jeanette who has been diagnosed with breast cancer which has also spread to her lymph glands and has just started 6 months of grueling chemotherapy . After the first course of treatment her hair has started to come out, so in support I am to have a No 1 for my No 1 friend on the 26th July . John will have a body part waxed ...he hasnt decide which part LOL but he will !! As well as being diagnosed with this devastating disease she is also guardian to her 3 grandchildren aged 5,6 and 7 so the money we hope to raise will keep the family unit as normal as possible as Jeanette will struggle to work through the treatment then surgery after that .Along with all that the house they currently live in has gone up for sale so through no fault of their own are having to find a suitable property for them all , close to the school the children go to and where Jeanette's wife Fran works part time so she can be around for the children.Their family holiday to Gran Canaria had to be cancelled as she had to start chemo 3 days before they were due to go ! Devastating for the children but they know Grandma is poorly and that was good enough for them ...Bless them . Jeanette has always worked hard to provide for her own family and now for her grandchildren and is worrying she will not be able to make ends meet . Our aim is to raise enough money to pay their rent for a year and hopefully enough to help pay for the family holiday they missed out on again through no fault of their own.Thank you for your help and support ...Jane and John x
