We need your help to raise funds for Christmas lights throughout Buxton town centre to help make Buxton brighter this Christmas! In this current pandemic many bonfire and Christmas lights switch on events are having to be cancelled, let's light up the town instead to bring some much needed joy for everyone during the Christmas period. These lights will compliment the illuminated Christmas trees on retail premises and will be put in place by local volunteers. We are hoping to raise enough to have a new Christmas tree and lights in Spring Gardens too!! I am involved with numerous community organisations/groups whose intentions are to improve their local towns for locals and tourists alike by fund raising and providing improved facilities and local events for everyone to enjoy. I also manage and organise Buxton Spring Fair and Glossop Lights Switch on! All these volunteers work tirelessly to achieve their goals and keep the community spirit alive! Please help Buxton have a Happy Christmas. Any donations received are much appreciated no matter how great or small, every bit helps!!
