I've raised £500 to save a kitten from a life on the streets in Lanzarote and bring it to a loving home in the UK. We need help with the passport and air fare.

In Lanzarote there are many cats abandoned and left to fend for themselves because their owners don't want them anymore or they have to leave the island for some reason and don’t take them with them.
Luckily there is a wonderful man called Freddy, who looks after the street cats in the Playa Blanca area. Through his charity, he feeds, neuters and gets veterinary care for the many cats living there. We saw one of the feeding stations, and some of the cats when we visited in February.

Last month, a holidaymaker found a cat on the streets with a litter of kittens, and Freddy took them into his shelter. The kittens are now looking for loving homes.
Anyone who knows us knows that we love our pets. Having adopted rescue cats from this country, we feel the need to help Freddy’s amazing charity by welcoming one of the kittens into our family.
To fly a cat into the UK costs a ridiculous amount of money. You can fly a cat to mainland Europe for under £100, but to the UK it costs around £750.
We want to save this little angel from a life of uncertainty, and we’re asking for donations towards the passport and air fare.
