As a school leader, I believe that reading is the key to learning - developing a love of books is essential for children and will stay with them for life. We have made reading our main priority this year and our aim is to update our current libraries which are situated in different areas of the school into one stimulating and exciting area - a magical place in which children will be inspired to read and be transported to imaginary worlds and places beyond their normal experiences! But we need funding! We have low pupil premium numbers and very little government funding for projects such as this - and yet this is exactly what our children need! Could you help us at all? Could you be a part of helping us to achieve our dream library? Can you help our children to develop a passion for reading which will stay with them for life? Our theme is to turn the hall into a Jungle!! What better way to enthuse primary children?! If I'm excited by the thought of it, I can guarantee that 427 primary children will be beside themselves!!
