I've raised £500 to fund a Death Cafe, to run in Chelmsford every two months.

Organised by Jane Iskander
Pregnancy, birth, childhood, school, teenagers, working, living, loving.. all these are very usual parts of conversation.. but when it comes to death and dying, we dont talk about it. I work in palliative care, with people who have life limiting disease.. I believe death is one more part of life, a natural and normal way to bring life to a close, to keep the circle of life rolling around. Death cafe (Www.deathcafe.com) is a friendly place to share tea and cakes and share our thoughts and experiences of death, removing stigma and bringing light (and even laughter) to the topic.
