    Story

This fund raiser is for my cousin Jeanie Martin who sadly lost her only daughter and only child. The money will help her when times are hard and help fund a fantastic send off for an amazing and inspiring young girl. This is Chloe Martins story.

Chloe was suffering from a throat infection, On weds the 26th of July Chloe had woken up as normal in a very happy and jolly mood, she was shouted at top of her voice if I'm up then everyone else is up. Her mum Jeanie and grandmother Sandra went down stairs as they was in the living room Chloe had rushed in holding her throat saying that she couldn't breath. She started to panic and her lips started turning blue, she had collapsed on the floor and stopped breathing, her grandmother started CPR while her mum had rang an ambulance. She was rushed into intensive care at the QMC where they had serdated her and put her on a ventilator. They told all the family that the next 24 to 48 hrs are really critical. The doctor later told us that Chloes brain had been starved of oxygen for 25 mins, we all prayed every day that she would pull through this she is a fighter. later that week we got told by the consultant that chloe had suffered 95% brain damage and might not make a full recovery, we all wanted to believe that this is all a dream and she would jump up out of that hospital bed and shout who's taking me to McDonalds. But she didnt. So on the 9th August 2 weeks since first being admitted the doctor had told her mum Jeanie that there's nothing they can do for Chloe and she should make a decision to turn the machine off, this must of been the hardest thing that a mother as had to do, all the family and friends gathered round her bedside to say our final goodbyes, Chloe fell asleep Thursday 10th August at 1:00pm, she was full of energy and a fun loving caring young girl and loved by many. This will help her mum and family to give her a great send off xx
