The Elephant Nature Park rescues elephants who are badly treated and/or living in horrendous conditions. Many are injured and often blind due to being forced to work 12 hours a day, been beaten, have hooks dug in them etc, etc. I spent a week at this park as a volunteer helping to look after the elephants, it is an amazing place. I saw an elephant arrive after being rescued,she was blind and had been working 12 hours a day then chained up at night. To see her walking round and making contact with the other elephants was a very emotional experience.

Looking after the elephants is an expensive business, they eat a lot! I have sponsored one and would like to raise more money to sponsor two more if possible. Thank you for your support.
