Story

Macy, Jane and the rest of the Warland's visited Romania last year and fell in love with the people and the wonderful country. Macy and Jane are going again this year with the Smiles foundation to help restore a house that at the moment is uninhabitable. The Colar family have been in the smiles project for a long time. Catalin is disabled and his mum cares for him fulltime. They get little to no support from the Romanian state and dad works tirelessly to try to support his family, but they live hand to mouth and there is no spare money.
The family would benefit so much from having a home and if that home was close to Salonta, Catalin could visit the Disability Wing at JFL. Such a house has been bought but it is almost derelict, and we need to raise funds to help make it habitable.
Annette Charles spends every spare moment she has raising money for Smiles and families like this and others. She has been promised a match in funds if she can raise £3000.
Macy and Jane are going to run a 5 mile obstacle course at Stamner Park, Brighton on the 9th June. We are asking for sponsorship to help Annette give this wonderful family a roof over their heads and a disabled boy some joy from the facility the foundation have built.
Thanks Jane and Macy
