Ben as you may already know is off in 2019 volunteering in Tanzania for a month at the mere age of 16! He will be helping those less fortunate than ourselves taking on jobs such as refurbing schools, building fences, water collections and much more.

To make this once in a lifetime trip Ben has to raise over £4500 and that doesn't take into account the immunisations and kit he will need to buy at a cost of £1000 so in all he is having to raise over £5500 to be able to go.

So far we have under taken lots of fundraising events such as Mud runs, car washes, World cup sweepstakes, car boots, Sweet raffles, odd jobs and more... we still have a long way to go!

The event we are taking on now is a climb up Scafell Pike in August of this year. The climb will be challenging as it is totally out of our comfort zone, our mountain climbing team will be Ben, Janet, Paul, Hannah and Abbi Burgess, Kirsty Severn, Peter and Rachel Lee!

We welcome anyone else who would like to join us, you will have to make your way to the Lake District of course and book accommodation as we have but the more the merrier.
