Hello everyone!

The last 2 years I took a bit of a charity work hiatus to take care of myself. Tons of self care and reflection has reminded me that my true happiness comes from making others happy. Love and kindness is truly free; it's not that hard to give and to uplift others.

My mother has always inspired me to give our talent and time even if we don’t have the money. I recall her spending nights sewing wash cloths or making dolls for children's homes. My fellow Michigan Alum Kate, reignited this in me during my University years with her relentless community work in Africa. And I’ve seen this again with some friends of mine who manage a phenomenal charity organisation in the UK focused on building orphanages.

You all probably know how much I love children. This year I would like to host a summer/Christmas party for children who are in foster care, orphaned, or from very low income communities. Every child deserves to feel loved and cared for. If there is extra money, maybe we will even do small but functional gifts for each child. Like balls or school supplies, etc. I will keep you posted on the location and plans.
