Story

Mrs Jotham sadly fell victim to con men that claimed that they were working for the local council. They asked her for £250 that she had saved hard for months to get together for a holiday.

The savings were from her state pension.

The bogus contractors had no intention of carrying out the 'tree maintenance' and they left never to be seen again.

Mrs Jotham has been a volunteer all her life and at the age of 80 years old, she was looking forward to her first holiday since 1960. Now she is unable to go on holiday as these men having taken away her chance to have a short spell in Cornwall.

It is a lot of money to have taken away and Mrs Jotham just wanted to be able to go on holiday with her son.

The incident has left her fragile, shaken and incredibly upset and we just want to give her the chance to have the holiday that she deserves.
