Over the next few months myself and a few others will be involved in a number of fundraising events to raise as much money as possible for the charity #Male Suicide Awareness. myself and others involved would be really gratefull if you could all suport us by donating what you can to a great cause. If everybody could help by donating just £1 it would be a great contribution to a cause that affects so many. Every little helps!

My first event is on Sunday 20th May 2018. I will be taking part in the Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run half marathon.

The second event is on 16th June 2018 where myself, HCA RBH, matron Claire Stott and staff nurse Amanda Stevenson, will be taking part in the NHS triathalon. I am going to be doing the running, claire is going to be doing the bike ride and Amanda is going to be doing the swim.

The third event is taking place on Bank holiday Monday on 31st August 2018. A charity fund raising day is going to be held at the Vulcon Inn, Junction road in Bolton. This day is in memory of Sean Ridsdale who sadly lost his life to male suicide. Sean is the brother to Jamie leigh Ridsdale who is one of our colleagues in A+E. Carl Grundy, who is the land lord of the Vulcan Inn, along with Sue Ridsdale , Sean's mum, Jamie leigh Ridsdale , Sean's sister and myself Janet Grundy, will be carrying out the charity event and raising money in memory of sean. All money raised will go towards # Male Suicide Awareness It means a lot to us to raise as much awareness in male suicude, and as much money as we can to go to a great cause. Male suicide affects so many people. Please help us to help others by donating as much as you can. If every body could give as little as £1 it would make a massive difference.

Every body is welcome to join us at the charity event on Monday 31st August 2018, at the Vulcan Inn Junction Road Bolton.We hope to see as many of you there as possible. There will be plenty of enterainment and lots of raffles to be won.
