Following a huge 5 stone weight loss she thought she would be confident and happy most people would but in fact she feels the complete oppossite. As with most weight loss there is problems with skin excess on the body but our moms wasnt that it was the skin on her face. Because she had lost so much weight her face was left wrinkled badly so at 52 yrs. old she felt like she looks 62. I cant even begin to tell you how much she lost inside of her She visited her gp who said cosmetic surgery couldnt be done on nhs so she would have to pay for it. Over the past 5 yrs shes become a bit of a recluse and is on medication for depression. She hasnt had a relationship as shes too disgusted with her face. When people lose weight they can generally cover up the skin problems but its impossible to cover your face up. So we her family have set up this page to try to raise some money for the surgery to give her back something priceless Her life, self confidence and happiness by paying for corrective surgery.
