I've raised £2000 to Split equally between Ladybirds pre-school for wooden outdoor play equipment for the little Ladybirds and cancer charities.

Around 8 years ago I decided (quite bizarrely) that the year of my 40th birthday I would like to do the coast to coast walk. This is a 192 miles from St Bees in the Lake District across the Yorkshire Dales and then onto the moors and finally finishing at Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire 14 days later. Tony has very kindly ( been bullied lol) into doing it with me 😂😂. We will be starting this adventure on the 28th July and have decided to use the trip to try and raise money for two brilliant causes. Please read on.
As a couple we have both had family members affected by cancer and we are both aware that without crucial research our family members might still not be with us, so this is vital that this research has the funds to continue.
I am also the manager at a fantastic non profit making pre-school in West Pinchbeck near Spalding called Ladybirds. I love my job and enjoy watching our little Ladybirds grow, learn and develop. We would really love some new wooden outdoor play equipment but this is beyond our financial means without fundraising.
We are going to be walking a very long way so please give generously so we can split the money between these two fantastic causes.
