At Here For You Calderdale CIC, we believe that nobody should be denied support because of their financial circumstances.

Our community shop was created with one clear purpose: to help fund donation-based counselling for people affected by addiction and alcoholism.

While addiction may be the reason someone first reaches out, it is often only part of the story. Through counselling, we help people explore the deeper issues that can lie beneath addiction, including trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and childhood experiences. By addressing the root causes, we aim to support lasting recovery rather than simply treating the symptoms.

Having experienced addiction and recovery myself, I know how life-changing the right support can be. Today, I'm privileged to work as a qualified counsellor, helping others rebuild their lives with hope, purpose and confidence.

Our vision at Here For You Calderdale CIC is to make professional counselling accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. Every donation helps fund sessions for someone who may otherwise go without the support they need.
