Our dear friend, colleague and ex-housemate Janine has been fighting breast and ovarian cancer for a year, she had the all clear only just a few months ago.

Janine recently suffered a week long migraine and after a lot of test, scans and a few days in hospital, Janine was told that sadly the cancer has spread into her brain. She has 4 mestatic lesions and facing the reality of a terminal diagnosis.

This is a dreadful shock to her, and her close family and friends, she has fought so hard and been so brave, positive and determined her only wish was to spend more time with her daughter Charlotte and husband Matt

Sadly it will not be possible to get her to Disney on advice of her medical team and so we are now looking to get her and her family on as many mini adventures as possible in the time she has.

There are a number of events that have now been set up to raise funds:

Dave Watson & John Rose will RUN a 24hr / 100 mile race through Sherwood Forrest

Carl Jones & nick Hawkins will be abseiling from the National Lift tower in Northampton which they allege is the tallest permanent abseil tower in the world.

Clara O'Donnell with be swimming the equivalent distance of the channel at Bosworth Hall (2213 lengths!).
