I've raised £400 to raise money for Sophie Hubbard and Ronald McDonald House Brighton at a 3 hour Charity Swoovathon on Saturday 11th January at 2pm-6pm

We are holding a 3 hour Swoovathon to raise money for Sophie Hubbard, who needs specialist medical equipment after becoming poorly in early 2019 and Ronald McDonald House Brighton.
Sophie is the grand daughter of one of my swoovers and in February 2019 she became extremely poorly and was diagnosed with Acute Necrotising Encephalitis (ANE) a very rare brain disorder, there are only 200-300 cases of this condition worldwide. As a result she requires specialist medical equipment. 50% of the money we raise will be donated directly to Sophie's family to help contribute towards this.
The other 50% of any money raised will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Brighton. For the past 30 years RMHC have be supporting families by providing FREE family accommodation just a stone's throw away from their child's hospital.
This is a charity that not only Sophie's family have needed but also another regular swoover who used the RMHC up at the Evelina London Children's Hospital 2 years ago.
They have supported over 50,000 families at a time in their lives where they need it the most. By providing a real 'home away from home' so that families can have a 'normal' schedule, can eat, stay and play together as much as possible.
