I've raised £1000 to help support the Coventry Comfort Carers and the great work they do supporting vulnerable people in the area.

I completed the Snowman Triathlon in Wales, on 5th August this year. I have been raising money for Coventry Comfort Carers to help support them with the great work they do for vulnerable people in Coventry. Several years ago I was homeless, mainly sofa surfing, but I did spend some time on the streets, however with the help of local charities, I was able to get back on my feet. Last year, around 4,800 people were estimated to be sleeping rough in England. This is 15% higher than in 2016, and more than double the estimate of 1,800 for 2010 (FullFact, 2018). This has becoming evidently so, as you may notice when you walk around in Coventry, you see more and more people sleeping rough and asking for spare change. Furthermore, these figures do not take into account those who are sofa surfing or have no solid fixed abode. I surpassed my target of £1000 to donate completely to Coventry Comfort Carers, however if you wish to donate, please do, as much as you can (every little helps). Thank you, Jarred.
Update: 25/06 - I have recently (14/06) completed a 180 mile bike ride from Coventry to Wales, to support the fundraising and gain more exposure. I managed to raise £300 in a couple of days, both from social media and also people I passed on my travels.
I completed a 40 mile run to Nottingham, in less than 12 hours, on Friday 29/06 in a 118 fancy dress outfit to raise more awareness and gain more donations for CCC.
