Since having our girl and us needing to live in hospital for 4months, we have experienced first hand what these Neonatal wards do. Incredible work and unconditional love for these babies. They are nicknamed "Neonatal Aunties"
Bradford Women's saved both our Daughter and myself. The Neonatal unit have an expansion plan, staff, locals and previous patients are fundraising tirelessly to hit £3million target to expand. Providing essential services to patients this also includes out of area patients like ourselves! As there ward specialise in tiny babies born at 22weeks upwards.
Wigan Neonatal Unit is our local unit, and will always hold our heart. They got our girl ready for home. They helped save her have eye sight with checks and without these regularly she could of gone blind.
As many of you know, I regularly do collections for the ward. Essential items, items parents may need, bonnets, pocket squares. All items you wouldn't realise are needed by the ward.
