Story

As many of you know, Arabella was born extremely micro premature at 24 weeks weighing only 700 grams. We are hoping to raise money in aid of World Prematurity Month to support local ADAPT Prem Babies charity and the Neonatal Unit at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. We would like to gift each family, who are currently going through a NICU stay at Leicester hospitals a copy of Arabella’s favourite book. The book “Black and White” by Jane Foster was read to Arabella every day from 2 weeks of birth to now. This book gave us hope and strength as it was where we noticed Arabella would recognise our voices and open her eyes to us. She would be captivated by the beautiful illustrations and always took a special liking to the Snowy Leopard. She would gaze at that page for as long as she could and just seeing her respond meant everything to us.
