I've raised £500 to send me to London to compete in the U.K. Ultimate Physiques British finals.

First of all thankyou for reading my story. Last year I decided it was about time I set myself some new adult fitness goals. I wanted something which would propell my to get into the best shape of my life and break all of my bad habits which had been hindering me and taking a toll on my health. I needed something that would spark my motivation and dedication to health and fitness. That goal became a bikini competition, a category in female body building- the U.K. Ultimate Physiques Scottish regionals to be precise.
For 3 months I trained pretty hard lifting weights and eating a somewhat healthy diet in a surplus to attempt to gain a bit of muscle. I weight trained several times a week and I did callisthenics- body weight training - Monday to Friday in my local park with my dad. When March came it was time for bikini prep and time to cut. Cut my calories, cut out sugar, cut out all alcohol and my training increased to 6 days a week weight training and 5 days callisthenics so I was training twice most days with one full test day. My bikini prep lasted 11 weeks and by the time June arrived I was in the best shape of my life.
On the 3rd of June I competed in my first competition in Rutherglen, in the bikini junior category. It was there that all my hard work paid off as I was called forward for second place in my catigory and a silver medal was put over my head. Become second meant I had bagged myself a place in the British finals in London later in the year.
And that's where I am now. My second bikini prep of the year has just began and once again I'll be cutting out all bad habits and taking my body to the next level and bringing a better overall package to the stage this time around.
Competitng is very expensive. I'll need to pay for a sparkly bikini, tan, hair, makeup, shoes, posing lessons, travel to London and accommodation. Bodybuilding is a designer sport and nothing comes cheap, so any kind of donation would be greatly appreciated. By competing in these competitions I hope to be seen by the right people and get my foot in the door to my dream job of fitness modelling :). Thankyou!
