I am beyond pleased to announce that I am working with the Global Brigades community in order to support refuges and asylum seekers with legal aid in Greece.

The plan is for me and a group of other students from Nottingham Trent University to fly out to Greece this June to provide legal aid and workshops to assist refugees. Greece unfortunately has very poor legal aid and the community is desperate for Law volunteers, such as us, to give as much assistance as necessary. The cost for each individual member to support the community and maintain a case load when we are out there is £1100.

My role in this community is the Secretary, in which I am liaising with other members of the community and ensuring everyone is hitting their target fundraising to guarantee that we can help Global Brigades the best we can!

In honour of this, I will be hiking snowdonia with friends and family in the Easter break to help raise as much money as possible.
