St John Home in Whitstable, Kent is celebrating it's 70th anniversary this year. I am running the Canterbury Half Marathon on 28th August to raise funds to go towards new equipment to improve the care and quality of life of the residents who live there. My Grandmother Joan spent the last few months of her life here, recieving the best possible love and care from all the wonderful stqff. Better equipment and facilities would be used to continue the excellent work but also bring life to the home's residents.
