Hello, my name is Jasmine.

I am nine years old and I live in Bath.

I enjoy living in Bath and I have decided that I would like to raise money for worthy causes within my community.

I would really like to raise money for a local charity providing help to those who are less fortunate than myself as well as the two schools that I have attended whilst living in Bath.

The two schools I would like to raise money for are Oldfield Park Junior School [OPJS] and Oldfield Park Infant School [OPIS]. I enjoyed being a student at OPIS for my first 3 years of school and I am currently studying at OPJS in Year 4. I would really like to raise money for both schools to show my appreciation for how well they have taught me and to ensure that other children living here get the same opportunities I have enjoyed.

I have chosen Julian House as the local charity I'm raising money for because when I walk around Bath with my parents and brother, I see lots homeless people and it is quite upsetting when you really think about it. There seems to be more and more of them. These people are like you and I. It could so easily be any of us having to beg for money or sleeping in doorways. I think that being homeless isn't a choice. I only hope that by raising a little money I can help and make a difference. By raising money for Julian House I know that the donations I receive will be put to the best possible use to help those who need it most. It would be amazing if you could sponsor me and between us we can help those that have less than ourselves.
