Story

On 7th July Catherine, Chanelle and I will be taking on the Dartmoor Prison Break Ultra Event. Entrants have to determine their own route from the start point with the aim to achieve the furthest distance (as the crow flies) in a given time (12 hours). We start at midday and will have a support crew, made up of family and friends, on hand throughout.

Training for the event has been on-going for several months now and has included a 17 and 21 mile run! Although the training has gone well, unfortunately, one thing we weren't prepared for was losing one of our team members, Jo, to injury. This is where Chanelle stepped in, and is taking on the challenge with only 4 weeks training!

If you would like to sponsor us, the money raised will go towards the school's garden project. The purpose of the project is to create a multi functional area which is usable all year around. This includes an outdoor classroom/ seating area, role play or creative play area, a network of paths, a sensory area for children with autism and for promoting good mental health, an environmental area for recycling, bug huts etc and raised planters which enable pairs of children shared garden for lessons and break times. Our PTFA and parents at the school typically come in to do grounds days and have volunteered time, expertise and machinery to support this. The new garden will benefit the school and it's families, pre-school, toddler group, church and the local community.

Many Thanks,
