Whilst it would be easy to sell you all the wonders of Peru and convince you I’m going to end all social and economic problems in the country, I’m not going to. But I am going to be going on an amazing adventure, with the main goal being to benefit a local community in some way, and to explore Peru and its culture. I will be heading out to Peru for three weeks with a team taking on the challenges of the Andean mountains, heading down towards the Upper Amazon and the Amazon Basin. Potential projects could include construction and renovation in local schools and communities, education schemes or even getting involved with the turtle conservation project (which is the one I would most love to do!). The prospect of going to a foreign country with the bare necessities, is terrifying to me. But I am more curious than afraid to see what Peru has in store for me and to see who is going to win? Me or the jungle. As part of this experience with ‘World Challenge’ I need to raise the funds to get me there and the idea is to raise this money myself. I have raised just over 1/3 of the money through working at my local hairdressers since I was 14, however, I still have some way to go. So, I am reaching out to you to ask for support for this cause.
