Teddy my year old Pug unbeknown to me sadly ate an infected snail or slug and has contracted Lung Worm.

I found Ted yesterday collapsed on the kitchen floor struggling to breath, coughing up blood and urinating himself.

I rushed Ted over to our emergency veterinary hospital who vary quickly diagnosed his condition. They were amazing and immediately began to treat Ted for his condition.

Since then Teddy has been on constant fluids and oxygen and has had to have numerous injections and blood transfusions.

Teddy is in critical condition and the veterinary surgeons are doing all they can for him.

Teddy has a long way to go and is by know means out of the woods today.

As embarrassing as it is to say I need help to pay the ever increasing vets bill which currently stands at around £1000.

I"m not normally one to ask others for support but young Teddy means the world to our family and we have to give him every possible chance at life no matter what.
