Our 6 month old German shepherd Jaxx was born without a ball joint in his right leg. This is leading to him requiring a double hip replacement at a cost of £7,000-10,000 per hip. Before Jaxx is allowed to have this operation he has to undertake 6 months of intensive hydrotherapy to strengthen this legs muscles to help prepare him for the operations. As it stands the poor guy is restricted in his day to day walking. He is one of 3 dogs we have. We have a 8 year old and a 8 month old. This is obviously very frustrating for him as all he wants to do is play but for obvious reason he can't until the operations are complete and he has fully recovered. Every penny we raise will go towards Jaxx's hydrotherapy, the operations themselves and the after care he will be requiring.
