Weʼve raised £822 to Help Bristol homeless CIC

    Bristol, UK
Funded on Saturday, 1st September 2018

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

Myself and my son Matteo will be blasting 500 miles (accumulative) mimimum of cycling to raise money in support of local Bristol charity organization 'HELP BRISTOLS Homeless'

My friend Jasper Thompson started his homeless project last year and it's gone from strength to strength and in my opinion I think what he has achieved is utterly remarkable. The 'shipping container homes' cost approx £10.000 to convert living space which I plan on contribute too.

Last year after quitting 20 years of smoking and only keeping mild amounts of exercise I decided to get back in the saddle and hit the trails.

These sort of miles over the period that we plan to do this too veteran rider's might seem a doddle but at my fitness level this certainly isn't, and I plan on covering u.k trails, bike parks and national free trails and single track. Keeping in mind that no matter how tired or cold I may be it's nothing compared to how cold it could be, I have a home to go to so I'll be shutting up and powering through for people that matter.

My 16 year old son will be joining me as well and also my 2 year old lab trail dog in training Jessie.

Mike and the crew at Strada cycles in North street, Bedminster will be supporting us throughout, providing us with good trail guides and servicing.

I will be using a trip computer and fitbit for updates on progress on the way and post to fb and insta weekly..

Many thanks in advance for any donations however small as it all counts, and as this is crowd funding effort it will go straight to Jasper and the team.

Please share the hell out of this please!!

    Thankyou

    Jay, Matteo and Jessie
