Story
In memory of my beautiful brother, Kai ❤️
On 7th October 2026, our family received the devastating news that we had lost my brother, Kai, at just 24 years old.
Kai was born on 10th October 2001. He was a much-loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend and, most importantly, a loving father. He leaves behind people who loved him deeply and a family who will carry his memory with them for the rest of their lives.
There are no words that can truly explain the heartbreak of losing someone you love, especially in such sudden and tragic circumstances. Kai died by suicide after struggling with his mental health, and our family is now trying to come to terms with a loss that we never imagined we would have to face.
Mental health can affect anyone, often in ways that aren't visible to the people around them. We hope that by speaking openly about Kai and what happened, we can remind people that struggling in silence can be incredibly painful, and that asking for help should never be something to feel ashamed of.
Alongside the heartbreak, our family is now facing the unexpected financial cost of arranging Kai's funeral and giving him the farewell he deserves. We never imagined that we would have to ask for help in this way, but unfortunately the cost of a funeral is more than our family can manage alone.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean more to us than we can put into words. Every £1 will help us towards giving Kai the funeral and farewell he deserves.
If you aren't able to donate, simply sharing this page would mean so much to our family and could help us reach people who knew and loved Kai.
Thank you for taking the time to read about Kai, for remembering him, and for supporting our family through the hardest time imaginable.
Rest peacefully, Kai. Forever 24.

If you’re struggling, please talk to someone ❤️
As a family, we never want another family to experience the pain we are experiencing now.
If Kai’s story makes you recognise something in yourself, or if you’re struggling with your mental health, please talk to someone. You don't have to carry it alone. Asking for help isn't a weakness, and sometimes simply having someone listen can be the first step.
