We are starting a foundation that will not only bring the arts to children and young people in the poorest parts of the world but will also create an artistic movement that will see artists travelling to the world's slums and creating artistic hubs. exposing children and young people to fine art, allowing them to see art beyond the commercial and stereo typical.

The initial program will be creating a ballet school in the Rocinha Favela Rio De Janeiro. Children in the slums have limited access to schooling at just 3 hours per day and after school programs are even more scarce. We will team up with NGO's in the favela to add and enrich their programs with dance. This will mean that the children that wish to take part will need to attend the free after school and education programs. Encouraging a sense of commitment as well as encouraging children to participate in further education consistently.

We will use the fund to do things like

1. Provide children with Full ballet kits

2. Helping to get high-quality dance artists to the Favela

3. Securing a venue for the children to perform

4. Spread the word about or cause

5, Encouraging others to do sponsored events to raise fund.

It is such a tragedy that there is so much poverty tourism around the world. people taking the opportunity to spectate on others poverty and give nothing in return. Once we remember that these places that we visit for are peoples homes and the places that we drive through for a day where we take selfies with the children and then keep moving, we are leaving to continue our lives but also we were just a part of that child's real life.

So rather than just donating to a huge charity and then closing our eyes to what is going on while hoping a child gets a pair of shoe lets come together and give these children more in the form of fine arts
