Helen is my work colleague. She is a beautiful young lady inside and out!
Last year Helen was living her life happily with her husband Matthew and her son, when a she received the devastating news that she had Lung cancer. She has never smoked and lived a healthy lifestyle, so the news came as a complete shock. She has bravely been battling her way back to health and up until last week was doing well. She was just about to come back to work and we were all so looking forward to seeing her. However, within a blink of an eye things have taken a turn for the worst and her health has started to deteriorate. She is determined to share her life with her husband watching her beautiful 3-year-old son Louie grow up, but she needs a little financial help.
She is going to have treatment in Germany, but it is very expensive. So far, she has managed to gather enough money for 2 weeks’ worth of treatment. However, she needs to have 3, so needs to find another 10000 pounds.
Lots of her lovely friends and family are supporting her by taking part in different challenges and events to help raise the money.

Every penny counts and what I am offering is for every £5 you donate you will be entered a raffle to win a weekend break in a lovely seaside 3-bedroom cottage in Anglesey (so the more you donate the more chances you will have). The cottage is on a hill top overlooking Benllech beach, it has beautiful sea views and the beach is just down the hill. It sleeps 6 people and you can take the break anytime between Jan and April, with the only exception being the February half term.
