Kathryn Gray & Jeanette Mitchell are running the Great North Run together, the worlds biggest half marathon in September to help raise funds for a new club house for Tintwistle Cricket Club.

** Kathryn and Jeanette successfully completed the Great North run on 12th September (and have the medal and t shirt to prove it 😂) they have decided whilst they have put in all the training they are going to do another ! They will be running the Manchester Half Marathon as well on 10th Oct**

Tintwistle Cricket club has always been an integral part of the community, they provide a central place for people to come together, where they have enjoyed cinema nights, gin festivals and watched some fab cricket. Jeanette’s Dad was the treasurer for a number of years at the club and spent many weekends at TCC. Also from a small boy Kathryns son has played at Tintwistle cricket and made some very good friends and both would like to support them in their new adventure of building a new pavillion to continue their amazing work with the future generations of cricketers and community.
