    Story

Cancer affects one in two people. A machine called a cyber knife is able to aim a thin pencil like beam of radiation at tumours from radial points around the body to kill tumours without affecting the over lying tissues. This makes surgery needless when this happens. There are only a few of these machines in existence. I hope to help raise money to make such treatment as accessible as a chest x ray is today so everyone can have a better chance of survival. Also i would like this fund to provide financial help to cancer patients in need. The machine i describe could have made the need for a second operation (due to cancer spread) obsolete for many of us. Perhaps together we can ensure this machine is there locally for you or someone you know when the time comes.
