Over the bank holiday weekend whilst we were all enjoying the sun I read this story about a little boy of only five years old who had a very serious accident whilst playing in his garden.

Sadly a wall collapaed on him and severed his little hand. He was rushed to alder hey where he's spent hours in theatre to reattach his hand

I was particularly moved by this story and very saddened. After everything that's happened over the past few months at alder hey, they do still do amazing work. This little boy will have many months of recovery and a difficult time and maybe life changing for him.

after all the community help I have had over past few years it's time to Pay it forward. I think this little boy needs our help and support. I propose to raise some money for him in order to aid his recovery and/or when the family feel right to make this little lads dreams come true with whatever he wants to do.

Ive started this page for that very reason, the Mail have kindly agreed to publicise this so we can achieve this target and show this little lad and his family we as a community are right behind them in a long journey of recovery

i also plan to do some busking in order to speed the process along.
