I am the adult child of an alcoholic mother, who was himself addicted to alcohol until eventually getting sober 17 years ago at the age of 44. I have always written poetry and although my passion is for live performance, I have previously had several of my poems published both online and in print. I have been a recovery worker for the past 10 years and I hope the money I raise will eventually help others to find a happy and peaceful sobriety.
