Having battled Anorexia Nervosa for five long years, back in October 2019 I set up this page to raise funds for intensive residential treatment at a clinic in the US.

Having exhausted all that the NHS could offer; outpatient, inpatient and day patient care, it seemed that the intensive help I so desperately needed was only available abroad, and came at a vast cost. However, after searching further we found an answer much closer to home; Orri, a specialist intensive day treatment clinic in London.

It is thanks to the immense kindness of both those known and unknown that I've now been at Orri for nearing eight months. That's eight months of treatment, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-07:00pm.This is something I never thought possible.

The difference Orri has made can't be put into words, they have without a doubt saved my life. With their great support I am making progress, I am getting Mima back! For the first time in five years there is light.

The only problem is... it comes at a cost, a very big one. However, experience has painfully taught me that we're nothing without our health, so I want to do anything in my power to raise funds to help me continue my treatment at Orri, to not only re-gain my health, but my life too. Anything you felt able to contribute would be absolutely amazing.
