Mathew Jenkins and Meleri Jenkins (nee Owen) were married recently after winning a prize in a local newspaper to provide their wedding venue etc.

Meleri works for a nursery which my child attended, hence my desire to help them.

The S*n newspaper wanted to feature their wedding in a spread, although I don't know the details. Mathew is a Liverpool fan, and he was subjected to considerable online abuse, including threats of serious harm, by supposed Liverpool fans, due to his willingness to accept money from the S*n. He had come to this decision with a heavy heart, but family comes first (and surely taking some of Murdoch's money is worthwhile, right?)

Yet as a result of the abuse received, they have cancelled their photoshoot with the S*n, losing them a good sum of money. I have no idea how much money they have lost, but I have set this site up so that the people of Denbigh can prove that those throwing abuse at Mathew are the minority, and that Denbigh is indeed the community that it claims to be.

And yes, I'm a Liverpool fan myself, and while I understand the moral quandary Mathew found himself in I'm disgusted that these louts purport to represent my team.
