My name is Jenna and I am in S3 at Kinross High School. I have been given the amazing opportunity to take part in World Challenge 2019 Africa (Kruger to Coast). This is a 2 year programme to take part in a 3-week educational expedition which will involve trekking through Swaziland, South Africa and Mozambique and working on a community project. The community project will involve working alongside the local people and renovating a local school by helping build classrooms to replace the open air schooling they currently have. This opportunity is a challenging expedition that will significantly benefit the local community and will teach me some valuable life skills such as leadership, communication and team work. I have the task of raising £4,050 through fundraising to cover all my costs for the expedition.
