I've raised £800 to build a classroom in Nepal
Organised by Jenna Nugent
In 2015 Nepal was devastated by an Earthquake, that killed almost 9,000 people, and left over 3.5 million Nepalese civilians homeless. It was the worst natural disaster to strike Nepal since 1934, meaning entire villages were flattened as they had not prepared for such an extreme situation. Therefore, I was given the opportunity from my college (Barton Peveril) to travel to Nepal in October 2019 and volunteer to help build a classroom from scratch. In order to allow this to commence, I need to raise £800 to fund the materials and equipment needed to build the classroom. Please help us to collectively raise £12,500.
