Story
Hello
I have set up this page to raise money for the Ronald McDonald house where I stayed when Jayden was admitted to Kings College Hospital London, they help so many families stay close to their loved ones and I would like to thank them for their help at such a scary, difficult time.
Jayden was born on the 23rd August 2014 and from the very beginning life was hard for him. He had many medical issues and spent the first 18 weeks of his life in three different hospitals. It was in London at Kings College Hospital Jayden was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia - a liver disease that affects the bile ducts in and around the liver. After 3 operations and countless procedures Jayden was finally discharged from hospital on the 30th December 2014 but it was a short stay at home as in January of 2015 Jayden and I were on the train again this time to Manchester for an eye operation after 3 weeks he was discharged home and since then Jayden has been admitted to hospital 20 times.
Some of Jayden medical issues include Developmental Delays, Glaucoma, partially absent Corpus callosum, Hydrocephalus, V.S.D, double aortic arch, abnormal left pulmonary artery, Absent right kidney, Duplex left kidney, Biliary Atresia, small left leg, possible hearing impairment and repeated episodes of sepsis.
Jayden was a very happy, cheeky little boy who earlier this year started to enjoy watching Thomas the Tank, he loved cosies, floor time and spending time with his older siblings and family. He had the most amazing smile and his smile could light up a room, he was just an amazing little boy.
My gorgeous amazing wee boy passed away on the 20th August 2016, three days before his 2nd birthday, we knew Jayden's future was uncertain but did not expect this to happen so soon. I am organising a Sponsored Winter Onesie Walk on the 3rd December in Dundee to raise money for the Ronald McDonald house.
Thank you <3
