I've raised £2000 to http://www.baalemane.org/ and https://www.roycastle.org/

The Sierra Andina Mountain Trail is one of the most difficult and demanding trail running events in the world. With elevations of 5,000m, the 80k run will connect the Pisco 30k route with the Santa Cruz 45k for one unforgettable trail run through the Cordillera Blanca in Peru.
Both being avid runners, this is by far the most physical and physiological challenge we will encounter to date. We are both very much looking forward to it, however this test of endurance will be completed if we could raise a donation to the charities below which lie very close to our hearts.
Thank you in advance for all of your support,
Jen & Lisa x
The Baale Mane Gopalapura
The Baale Mane is a home for disadvantaged and abandoned girls on the outskirts of Bangalore in India. The Baale transforms their lives, by giving them a happy, healthy and secure home environment. Providing them with the education, love and support they need to go on and live self-sustained lives in India. There is also a real focus on teaching the girls how to productively challenge the rigid norms dictating gender structures, power inequities and oppressive socially accepted roles and expectations of women in their communities. The girls are amazing in facing up to their futures and overcoming their pasts and they deserve every bit of the support we can offer to transform their lives. Thank you, Jen x

Roy's Castle Lung Cancer Foundation
The foundation are the only UK based charity committed to detecting early signs of lung Cancer. It was founded back in 1990 as 'the lung cancer fund'. It was a few years later in 1993 that the entertainer Roy Castle was diagnosed with lung cancer and agreed to give his name to this great foundation. It is a charity very close to my heart. They have been such a great support to my family these past 4 years after losing my dear Dad to Lung Cancer. Of course I would give anything to have my Dad back, but that isn't entirely possible, however we can help towards finding a cause behind this ugly disease. Whatever can be raised will be hugely appreciated and I will be forever grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read this, Lisa x
