Story

The world watched in horror as Hurricane Harvey descended on Houston Texas on 25 August 2017. All our thoughts went to our loved ones living in the area. Thousands of families were affected and the world witnessed families trapped in their homes as the waters continued to rise. Evacuations were necessary to preserve life and many homes went under water. Lives were lost.

Family friends living in the area became our primary concern and we got word that a Family friend's home Ede

and Egie Iyoha had become flooded and their 3 boys and Egie's mother were trapped on the top floor as the ground floor was flooded. Thankfully, they were rescued to safety.

Hurricane Harvey has come and gone and the waters are receeding but it has left immense destruction. Many families lost everything. My friends have been lucky but their home is currently uninhabitable as the ground floor is completely destroyed. Thousands of dollars of damage for the things money can replace. Sadly there are things money cannot replace like the memories of a life time captured in print but all in all they are grateful to be safe.

We are trying to raise £5000 to support this family to move back to their home. The total damage cannot be assessed at the moment as their ground floor is water logged and needs to be dryed. This process has to be done quickly to prevent more problems.

Please donate towards this cause. Every penny will be appreciated.

Individually we a drop but together we are an OCEAN!
