I've raised £500 to Christine is a Zimbabwean grandmother who needs a knee replacement. She is unable to work. Without a salary she is struggling to survive

When we left Zimbabwe, the very hardest thing was saying goodbye to our incredible housekeeper Christine. Her mother worked for us for almost 15 years before retiring and her and her children were practically part of our family.
Christine is this amazing person who is now a Gogo (grandmother) she is my age. We were born in the same year. She up until recently was the sole breadwinner in her family but has had to give up work because she needs a knee replacement and cannot afford this expensive treatment in Zimbabwe.
I live a very privileged life in the UK, and I had a knee replacement myself 18 months ago. As a nurse, working in the NHS I know very well how difficult it is to cope with crippling knee pain, especially when you have a very physical job.
Christine has no access to free medical care, there is no NHS equivalent in Zimbabwe. She will have to pay for any medical needs.
In a bid to help this incredibly special person get her knee replacement so that she can work and support her family (a life without the pain) I’m raising money. Can you help even the smallest amount will help?
